Account Issues
How can I find the IP for the server running transactions for my account? There are several ways to locate this IP: 1) Use “nslookup www.mymerchantaccount.com” with your web-site name. It will return the server name and IP address. 2) Running a transaction on the site will result in an email to the account contact, telling you what IP the transaction came from.
Is CVM processing supported for American Express and Discover Card? While we do accept American Express and Discover Cards, the CVM processing is not supported for these cards. We do not currently have an update from our processor (First Data Omaha) as to when that product will become available.
Testing Issues
Does the gateway have a test user account? Yes. You can use username “gatewaytest” with password “GateTest2002” (case-sensitive). This test account CAN NOT actually charge a card, but can attempt to do so. If your transaction contains the field test_override_errors (with any value), the system will give you a simulated approval response.
How can I verify that transactions are working on my web-site? There is no such thing as a “testing” credit card number. You will need to submit a “test” order using your own credit card and information. Once the transaction is approved, you can log in to the Merchant Portal and void the sale, so that your card is not charged.
Integration Issues
Does the gateway return CVV2 information? We return CVV2 feedback on all transactions processed by the First Data Omaha (FDR) processor. The API and the Merchant Portal will return this information in the “CVV2 result code” field.
Why can I process a sale using a card with the incorrect card type selected? The gateway requires that a card type be provided, but it will correct it if the wrong one is specified. This data error is monitored, but does not hold up the transaction.

Why do I get a “server connection IP is invalid” error? You are attempting to submit a transaction from a server which you have not registered. Contact Support at 877-484-8444 to register this server IP for your account.
